Musical extravaganza “Santoshakke Haadu Santoshakke” and Award Ceremony

Mysuru: Jana Chaitanya Foundation is organising a grand musical event titled “Santoshakke Haadu Santoshakke” on March 27 at Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, JLB Road, in the city.

Addressing a press conference at Mysuru District Journalists’ Association, Foundation
President R Lakshman highlighted the foundation’s continued commitment to cultural enrichment and social service for the past seven years.

The event will pay tribute to the legendary Kannada actor Shankar Nag and feature popular film songs in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

The singers including R Lakshman, Joyce Vaishakh, Amar S, Dr L Suma, Dr T K Prakash, and others will present iconic songs of celebrated playback singers like S P Balasubrahmanyam, Dr Rajkumar and Mohammed Rafi.

As part of the event, the prestigious “Chaitanya Ratna” award will be conferred on Dr Nagaraj V Bairy, President of the Karnataka Sugama Sangeetha Parishath, Mysuru District, in recognition of his contribution to the field of music.

Additionally, the “Madhyama Chaitanya
Ratna” award will be presented to Amshi Prasanna Kumar, Executive Editor of Kannada
Prabha newspaper, for his outstanding contribution to media and journalism.

D Nagesh, Joint Commissioner of Mysuru City Corporation, will grace the occasion as
the Chief Guest.

The foundation extended a warm invitation to all music lovers, and the entry to the event is free.

The event promises to be a celebration of music, culture and exemplary achievements.
