Murugha seer’s arrest: Cops free to act, says CM Basavaraj Bommai

Mangaluru: Following the arrest of Murugha Mutt seer Dr Shivamurthy Murugha Sharana, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said “police have been given full freedom in the case”.

Speaking to the media on his arrival at Mangaluru International Airport ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the city on Friday, the chief minister said “all procedures will be followed in compliance with the law. It’s not right to speak at this juncture”.
