Mysuru: Lakshmipuram police have booked a case against three persons on the charge of selling a site allotted by Mysuru Urban Development Authority ( MUDA) after forging the documents. Uma of Jayanagar, Manju Prasad of Basaveshwara road and Farhana from Laskhar Mohalla are facing the charge.
According to the complainant Ramadevi a gazzeted officer of the government, MUDA had allotted a site in the dimension of 12x 18( Site number 1410) to D Shivalingaiah at Devanur first phase, second stage on September 27, 1991. The sale deed was issued on February 17, 2010. Later Shivalingaiah had registered the site to his daughter Dr Supriya through a gift deed. On January 11, 2018, Supriya sold the site to Saifulla M through a sale deed. He had fenced the site.
Recently, on April 23, he learnt about Farhana one of the accused persons and others cleaning the site after removing the fence. When he went to the spot and enquired Farhana claimed to have purchased the site from Manju Prasad, also an accused in the case.
Worried, Saifulla went to MUDA and enquired with the commissioner. It came to light that a fake document had been created in the name of Uma as an allottee.
Uma had sold the site to Prasad. Police have booked a case of cheating and forgery.
