MUDA meeting on Nov 7; CM Siddaramaiah also among invitees

Mysuru: Amid tense atmosphere, the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) has scheduled its general meeting for November 7 at 11 am.
MUDA Chairman and Deputy Commissioner G Lakshmikanth Reddy has called the meeting, while Secretary Prasanna Kumar has issued the official notice, inviting all the 21 members, including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, by the virtue of being Varuna MLA.
The meeting is scheduled as the curiosity builds around the ongoing “50:50 site” scam investigation.
The Lokayukta Police is currently probing the scam, and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) recently conducted raids on realtors in Mysuru connection to the issue. This backdrop has heightened curiosity over the upcoming general meeting called by the Deputy Commissioner.
