Mud karting, nature trail at Chamundi Hill for adventure buffs

Mysuru: General Thimmayya National Academy of Adventure will organise water and aero sports during Dasara.
It was informed during the meeting organised at zilla panchayat on September 5 that ‘the academy will be organising adventure sports in and around Mysuru.
A total of 28 sports will be organised, including white water river rafting at the backwaters of KRS near Srirangapatna. Jet ski, speed boat, kayaking, canoeing and banana rides will also be conducted for sports buffs.
The parasailing will also be conducted, but the venue is not finalised yet. Mud karting and nature trails for children is planned at Chamundi Hill.
Housing and district minister V Somanna who was apprised about the activities planned by the academy, were advised to organise the activities with safety measures.
