MP Sumalatha Ambareesh to discuss about stone quarry with officials today

Mandya: MP Sumalatha Ambareesh who has vowed to continue the fight against illegal mining around KRS dam will be touring the district again on Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday Sumalatha Ambareesh will be holding a meeting on stone quarry at the deputy commissioner’s office at 2.30 pm. Deputy commissioner, senior geologist and assistant commissioner will be attending the meeting.
On Wednesday, Sumalatha will visit KRS dam on inspection at 12.30 pm. She will also hold a meeting with the officials on dam safety. At 2.30 pm, she will visit the places of illegal mining at Beby Betta and surroundings at Pandavapura taluk.
