MP Simha lashes out at CM Siddaramaiah for asking people to defeat him in next LS polls

Mysuru: Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha ridiculed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for asking people to defeat him in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

“It is unfortunate that the chief minister had to plead with people to defeat me in the next MP elections. Since he could not plead with the people in Saraswathipuram or Kuvempunagar or Siddhartha Layout, he asked the people in Udayagiri to defeat me,” MP Simha said. He dared the chief minister to give at least 10 reasons on why people should not elect him in the next MP elections. “Was it wrong to have worked on Mysuru-Bengaluru Expressway or Greater Mysuru or even developing the Mandakalli airport? Let CM Siddaramaiah list out his contribution for Mysuru in his 40-year political career,” journalist-turned MP Simha asked.

Lashing out at the chief minister Siddaramaiah, MP Simha accused him of spoiling society’s peace in Mysuru by allowing Mahishi Dasara. He also charged Siddaramaiah for the death of scores of Hindu activists by encouraging Tipu Jayanti in the State.

Recently, during the inauguration of Al Badr Circle at Narasimharaja Assembly constituency in Mysuru, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had reportedly given a call to defeat Pratap Simha in the next Lok Sabha elections.
