MP Simha accuses BJP senior leaders of “adjustment politics” with CM Siddaramaiah

Mysuru: Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha has stirred a hornet’s nest by accusing some of the senior leaders of his own party of doing “adjustment politics” with the Congress government.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, MP Simha said that some of the senior leaders of the BJP seems to have “joined hands” with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in not questioning the government over its schemes.

“It appears that a few senior leaders in both Congress and BJP have agreed together to not question each other. When the BJP was in power, they threatened Congress with Arkavathi denotification scam and other allegations on Congress. And now with the Congress in power, the Congress leaders are threatening the BJP leaders with 40 per cent commission, Bitcoin and such allegations. But in reality, none of these allegations will be investigated by both the party leaders and they just make noise. I suspect that they (BJP leaders) are doing adjustment politics with CM Siddaramaiah,” MP Simha accused.

“It’s like I scratch your back, you scratch my back attitude. No party workers dare do these kind of adjustment politics, only senior leaders are capable of doing this,” he alleged.
