MM Hills Development Authority donates Rs 50 lakh to CM’s fund

Chamarajanagar: Sri Male Mahadeshwara Development Authority contributed Rs 50 lakh to the Chief Minister Relief fund to fight Covid-19.
On Thursday, Chamarajanagar district In-charge minister S Suresh Kumar and Muzarai minister Kota Srinivas Poojari handed over the cheque to Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa at Vidhana Soudha.
Authority staff and officials of the authority, voluntarily contributed their three days’ salary and raised Rs 10 lakh. Besides, Karnataka State Khadi and Village Industries retired employees’ one day pension amount Rs. 2,15,158 and KVIC employees and officials donated their one day salary totalling Rs 1,92, 816. Together, Rs 64,07,974 was contributed to the fund.
Authority Secretary Jayavibhava Swamy and staff were present.
