MLA Tanveer Sait’s daughter hits ground as volunteer to help needy in Covid time

1 min read

Mysuru: As Covid-19 pandemic continues to pound people hard, especially the marginalised sections of the society, elected representatives irrespective of party are helping the needy in their own ways.

In some cases, even their family members have hit the ground as foot soldiers.

Narasimharaja Constituency Congress MLA and former minister Tanveer Sait’s daughter Parveen Sait has donned the cap as a volunteer. She is working round the clock  and organising volunteers team to initiate new plans to fight against the invisible enemy in the form of Covid.

In Bengaluru a team of volunteers are engaged in reaching essential medical kits to Covid patients. After recovery, they again collect the medical kits and provide to the needy other patients, thus avoiding the waiting time to avail medicines.

Inspired Parveen Sait also planned to introduce the concept in Mysuru, with the help of Care Social Foundation.

Her initiative has earned praise with the Sait family representing the constituency since two generations, beginning from her grandfather late former minister Azeez Sait.
