Miscreants shoot dead Vijayapura Corporator’s husband in broad daylight

Vijayapura: In a shocking incident, miscreants have shot dead Haider Nadaf, husband of Vijayapura City corporator on Saturday. Haider Nadaf’s wife Nishath Nadaf is the corporator of Ward no 19 in Vijayapura Corporation.
It is reported that Nadaf’s car was intercepted by miscreants near Chandapura colony in Jalanagar police station. Although, Nadaf tried to escape he fell to the bullets.
Superintendent of Police H D Anand Kumar visited the spot and are investigating.
Elections to Vijayapura City Corporation was recently held and Haider had fielded Nishath as an independent candidate. Nishath had won the elections.
The police are investigating the case.
