Miscreants go on rampage! JDS Pandavapura MLA Puttaraju’s house among several properties damaged in stone pelting

Pandavapura: Miscreants have pelted stones on several houses and vehicles including that of Pandavapura JDS MLA and former minister C S Puttaraju, damaging the window panes, on Thursday night.
However, both the MLA and his brother Ashok have denied any political rivalry behind the incident and have appealed to their fans and followers to maintain calm.
Puttaraju has also made an appeal on social media.
Ashok has also clarified that ” It is suspected to be the act of three who had an altercation in a drunken stupor at a petrol bunk in the night. Later they went on a rampage, hurling stones on various properties in a spree thus damaging them.”
Three cars, one private bus and an automobile showroom are also damaged in the incident.
Pandavapura police have registered a case.
