Mysuru: Housing Minister V Somanna peeked into the world of exotic birds at Cauvery Nisargadhama at Kushalnagar in Kodagu.
Cauvery Nisargadhama is on the banks of Cauvery river and beautiful landscape has made it one among the best tourist destinations in Kodagu district.
Somanna who is also Kodagu district minister, along with Deputy Commissioner Charulatha Somal and forest officers went around the new aviary with artificial birds shelters.
The aviary has been built in 2,000 square feet area and tourists can walk and feed the birds.
In the aviary, species of birds like budgies, African lovebirds, cockatiel, Conure varieties, African grey parrot, macaw, pheasant, turkeys, geese and ducks can be seen.
The video clipping of birds and the VIPs feeding them has gone viral on internet.
