Minister Dr Mahadevappa visits injured Pourakarmika at hospital

Mysuru: Social Welfare and District In-charge Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa called on Pourakarmika Mahadeva who lost his limb after being hit by a car while on duty at D D Urs Road here recently. The minister visited Mahadeva at Apollo Hospitals on Thursday and enquired about his health. “The government will take care of his medical treatment,” Minister Dr Mahadevappa said.
“Mahadeva was the bread earner of his family and what happened to him at such a young age is really unfortunate. The government is committed to help him to be economically independent. I have spoken about this with Social Welfare Department Chief Secretary P Manivannan,” the minister informed.
He further said that he will discuss with officials concerned about giving a job to Mahadeva’s wife.
