Metagalli police crack dacoity case, arrest three in three days

Mysuru: In a swift investigation, Metagalli police have cracked a dacoity case within a span of three days.
Three persons are arrested on the charges of dacoity and two cellphones and Rs 400 are recovered from them.
The police have given their names as follows- Sharat, aged 19 years, Chikkanahalli Cross, Pandavapura, Mandya, Sharath M B alias Catu, Maratikyatanahalli, Mysuru taluk and Srinivas, 32, Mandi Mohalla.
Recently on November 18 at around 11 pm, three miscreants riding a stolen motorbike had attacked workers of Mysuru -Bengaluru 10 lane highway project at Siddalingapura. They were resting inside a roadside tent near Shriya Comforts, when the assailants targeted them before fleeing with their cellphones and cash.
Sharath who had lifted a mobike at Holenarasipura, later joined other accused as a team.
The case was cracked by a police team led by Metagalli Police Inspector Mallesh A, that included PSI Vishwanath, Anil Shankapal, Lingarajappa, Suresh, Ramesh, Kantha, Gowrishanakar, Ponnappa, Diwakar, Prashanth kumar, Krishna, H B Asha and Likith. 
Police Commissioner Dr Chandragupta, DCPs Dr A N Prakash Gowda and Geetha Prasanna and ACP (Narasimharaja sub-division) Shivashankar appreciated the feat of Metagalli Police.
