Mysuru: People in large numbers, especially Christians attended the midnight mass at St Philomena’s Church.

A procession led by Bishop of Mysuru K A William was taken out from the main hall of the church to the crib built on the premises, where the idol of Infant Jesus was kept. The crib holds significance for recreating the story of the arrival of Jesus Christ, who was born in a cattle shed.

The Carol singers and ringing of the church bell provided the melifflous music in the backdrop.
