Mysuru: Covid induced lockdown and online learning came in handy for this Mysuru lad who emerged topper in Common Entrance Test (CET) for professional courses.
Meghan M K of Ramakrishna Nagar, who topped CET, had also cleared his CBSE class 12 board exams on the top.
He is a student of Pramati Hillview Academy, Kuvempunagar, the board of which is headed by MUDA Chairman H V Rajeev.
As Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) announced CET results, the management of Pramati honoured the student for bringing the laurels.
In an exclusive talk with Mysoorunews.com, Meghan said ” Planning and definite goal were the keys that helped him unlock success in CET.”
Meghan found it a better time to study during Covid caused lockdown and online classes and digital learning helped him a lot to prepare for entrance exams like CET and JEE.
Meghan who studied CBSE class 12 at Pramathi secured first rank, and in JEE got 99.57 per cent and also he ranked top in Engineering, Agriculture, BNYS, B-Pharma, D-Pharma.
“I was preparing for CET and JEE since three years. I am aspiring to join medical course, and also attended NEET and is expected to find place among top 50. AIIMS Delhi is my priority to study medicine,” said Meghan.
“ I want to be an Oncologist and do research in Cancer care. I want to bring smile on those faces who are physically and mentally strained due to cancer,” said Meghan with a concern.
Cricket and music are his hobbies.
Meghan didn’t forget to credit his feat to his parents Krishnaiah who is also a principal in K R Nagar College and mother Leelavathi also a principal.
“The guidance of both helped me a lot”, said Meghan.
