Megastar Chiranjeevi enters ‘Guinness World Records’

Hyderabad: Telugu Megastar K Chiranjeevi was honored with a prestigious recognition on Sunday, receiving the Guinness World Records for being the most prolific film star in Indian cinema.
In a special ceremony held in Hyderabad, a representative from Guinness World Records officially presented the certificate to Chiranjeevi.
The certificate recognises him as the “Most Prolific Film Star in the Indian Film Industry,” achieved on September 20, 2024.
According to the record, Chiranjeevi, also known as the ‘Mega Star,’ has performed an astounding 24,000 dance moves in 537 songs across 156 films over his illustrious 45-year career.
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy took to social media platform ‘X’ to congratulate the actor, stating, “It is a moment of immense pride for the Telugu people that our beloved Konidela Chiranjeevi has secured a place in the Guinness World Records.”
Chiranjeevi, a legend of South Indian cinema, has starred in over 150 films, leaving a significant mark not only in Telugu, but also in Hindi, Tamil and Kannada cinemas.
