Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation ( MCC) is sending essential items to flood affected Hubballi- Dharwad and Belagavi districts on August 18.
The materials are being sent through Basava Express ( Mysuru- Dharwad train).
Senior health inspector Ravishankar is leading the team to Dharwad from where it will also be sent to Belagavi.
A total of 25 items are being sent and here is the list accessed by Mysooru News.
A total of 112 rice bags, 14 sacks of wheat, five candle boxes, 13 boxes of milk, two boxes of milk powder, 110 family kits, 69 boxes of biscuits and buns, one box of mixed food, one box of sugar, seven boxes of chapati and chutney powder, 22 boxes of edible oil, 11 boxes of paste and brush, two sacks of salt, eight boxes of soap, one sack of tender coconut, nine sacks of dal, one bleaching powder, 17 boxes of sanitary pad, three sacks of charpoy, 19 sacks of bed sheet, towels and dhoti six sacks, sandal one sack, sarees four sacks, clothes three sacks and t- shirts one sack.
All the materials were collected from donors, at the collection centre opened by MCC and the district administration at Town Hall.
