MCC Commissioner Shilpa Nag goes on year long leave

Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation ( MCC) Commissioner Shilpa Nag has gone on a year long leave. Nag has been sanctioned leave for a period of 365 days from July 26, 2019 to July 24, 2020.

According to the document available with Mysooru News, Nag an IAS officer has been granted leave according to rule 18 (D) of 1955, All India services. 

Following the leave of Shilpa Nag, the government has appointed incumbent Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) Commissioner P S Kantharaj, KAS officer, as MCC Commissioner with additional charge.

If Nag had not gone on leave, she would have continued to serve as MCC commissioner, according to an ordinance issued from the office of under secretary, department of personnel and administrative reforms ( DAPR), Bengaluru.
