Man hacks wife to death with knife

Mysuru: In a disturbing incident a man murdered his wife over a trivial issue on Saturday.
Harshitha (21) of Kumbarakoppal was brutally killed by her husband Madesh.
Harishitha a native of Chinakurali in Mandya District, and Madesh from Beeramballi in Gundlupet got married a year ago.
Initially, the couple shared a good relationship, but as the days passed, Madesh’s violent behavior became a cause for concern for Harshitha.
Madesh was keeping a sharp weapon near the bed, which instilled fear in Harshitha. Feared, she returned to her mother’s house in Kumbarkoppal.
On Saturday night, Madesh secretly brought a knife with him after reaching his in-laws house in the city. After altercations, he suddenly attacked his wife. Geetha, Harshitha’s mother, who tried to intervene was also injured in the incident.
Madesh sat outside the house till Metagalli Police came and took him into custody.
