Man follows wife to death at Hanchya in Mysuru

Mysuru: Depressed over his wife’s death, a man allegedly committed suicide at Hanchya village in the taluk on Sunday.
Mahesh (45) of Hanchya is the deceased person. He is survived by his two children, parents and brother.
According to the family members, Mahesh was depressed after losing his wife Gayatri two months ago. Gayatri had met her tragic end after consuming a tablet mistaking it for BP tablet. Since then Mahesh had allegedly attempted to kill self twice.
On Sunday Mahesh who went to his farm, allegedly consumed pesticide and called his brother requesting him to take care of his kids. He also told his brother of taking the extreme step.
Though attempts were made to rush Mahesh to hospital, it proved futile.
