Man dies, another injured as car hits motorbike near Kollegal

Kollegal: A man was killed on the spot and another was injured after their two-wheeler collided with a car near Naripura village, Kollegal taluk on Sunday.
Mahadeva Swamy of Ummatthur village is the deceased. He along with another was going on a two-wheeler to distribute wedding cards of a close relative.
The impact of the accident was such that, Mahadeva Swamy who was thrown away from the vehicle fell on the top of the car, before breathing his last.
MLA C Puttarangashetty who was passing through shifted the injured to the district hospital in his car.
Kollegal police have registered a case.
