Mammoth procession marks Hanuma Jayanti in Mysuru

Mysuru: A mammoth rally was taken out as a part of Hanuma jayanti in the city on December 14. It was for the first time hanuma jayanti committees from different parts had come together to organise a bigger rally.

Two life size idols of Lord Hanuman was carried out in a procession from Kote Anjaneya Swamy temple at Mysore Palace north gate. The procession passed through Ashoka road, Gandhi Square and D Devaraja Urs road before culminating at Maharaja’s College grounds.

The devotees waving Hanuma dhwaja and chanting Hanuman chalisa also participated in the processsion.
Actor Vashista Simha also took part in the procession.
Scion of erstwhile royal family of Mysuru Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar offered puja to Lord Hanuman.
