Maharani’s girl students join guest lecturers protest, demand government to resolve the issue

Mysuru: Demanding resumption of classes, Government Maharani’s College students joined the guest lecturers on protest near Deputy commissioner’s office in the city on Wednesday.
Guest lecturers protest entered 20th day and the students have been deprived of classes since then.
“Our academics has taken a hit due to the ignorance of the state government. We want the government to immediately regularise the services of guest lecturers, otherwise we will intensify the protest,” students warned.
Monisha a student said “it’s 20 days since we have not attended the classes, as 25 per cent of teaching staff is on protest. It has impacted the academics. We want classes to resume.”
Another student Prashanthi said “Internal assessment is scheduled in January, but classes stand cancelled. Earlier there were five classes which has reduced to only two classes per day. We are in dark about how the academic year will end. We demand the state government to resolve the issue at the earliest.”
