Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti: Mysore Agrawal Samaj lends a helping hand

Mysuru: The 5148th birth anniversary of Maharaja Agrasenji was celebrated by providing various equipment to Savi Nenapu Foundation at Vijayanagar first stage in the city on Sunday.
Prayer was sung while garlanding the portrait of Maharaja Agrasenji and lighting the lamp.
Samaj President Dr Shri Krishna Mittal welcomed everyone and spoke about Maharaja Agrasenji and the principles propounded by him.
Agrawal Samaj Mysore, following these principles, tries to fulfill the needs of the institutions engaged in social service every year. Savi Nainapu Foundation was selected this year considering its yeoman services, said Dr Mittal.
Students of the Foundation presented cultural programmes.
Vice President Pawan Kedia, Secretary Pankaj Arya, Treasurer Amitabh Santhalia, Babulal Mittal, Sanwarmal Mittal, Pramod Khemka, Ram Mohan Bansal distributed certificates to the students.
President of Savi Nenapu Foundation Manasa thanked Mysore Agarwal community for their good samaritan initiative.
