Speaking during his visit to the grave of late Rajashekarmurthy at Mariyala Mutt in the district, Nirani who was an ardent follower of the former said ” However, Rajashekarmurthy’s dream of holding the reins of the state and ensure justice to the needy didn’t have a divine blessing.”

As a finance minister of the state, Rajashekarmurthy had also showed his acumen.

A strict disciplinarian known for his value based politics, Rajashekarmurthy was an inspiration to youths of those times. As I shared a bond with the family of Rajashekarmurthy, I came here to pay respects to the departed leader, said Nirani.
