Love for meat! People maintain social distance at shops

Mysuru: Lockdown or not, nobody can stop craving for non- vegetarian, especially on Sundays. As anticipated, serpentine queue was witnessed in front of meat stalls in the city.

Kannegowdana Koppal most known as K G Koppal which has more meat stalls witnessed a huge rush since morning hours.

As it is the fifth day of nationwide lockdown, district administration and police are struggling to implement social distance while people, especially meat lovers were in no mood to listen.
When the city corporation officials issued riders to sell mutton at Rs 550 per KG, meat shops were selling at Rs 700. It sparked a wordy duel among officials and vendors. Upset, some of the mutton shop owners closed shops.
Some vendors restricted the people against crowding and told them to manage social distance and the people were ready to follow in uber cool manner.
