Lorry fatally knocks down biker

Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a two-wheeler rider was killed after a lorry knocked him down near the old toll gate junction on Mysuru-Bengaluru road on Sunday.

Nanjunda Swamy was riding his two-wheeler when an oncoming lorry hit his vehicle. Swamy had sustained injuries on his head and face and was soon rushed to Columbia Asia Hospital hospital where the doctors declared him dead.

The lorry driver fled from the spot after abandoning the vehicle.

N R Traffic police have registered case.
