Lord Srinivasa shines in Golden Covering at temple

Nanjangud: A golden covering was offered to the presiding deity at Sri Srinivasa Perumal temple at Chamundi Township, on account of Srinivasa Kalyanotsava, in the town on Friday.
Various puja rituals were conducted under the supervision of Dr Bhashyam Swamiji of Sri Yoganarasimha Swamy temple, Vijayanagar, Mysuru.
Tirumalaiswamy Thambu, head of Chamundi Township and Durga Agency, donated the golden covering to the deity and took part in the rituals, along with his family members.
Hundreds of devotees took part in the rituals, with the arrangements made by N Srinivasan.
