Logo of Nada Habba Mysuru Dasara-2024 released

Mysuru: The logo of Nada Habba Mysuru Dasara- 2024 was released at Zilla Panchayat hall in the city on Friday.
The logo aptly reflects the annual fete, with the images of howdah elephant with 750-kg Golden Howdah and the idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari inside, with kumki elephants on either side that form the fulcrum of Dasara.
The portraits of erstwhile rulers of Mysuru Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar and Jayachamaraja Wadiyar, the 24th and 25th kings of Yadu dynasty respectively, with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, District Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa, Kannada and Culture Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi, with the image of Mysuru Palace in the backdrop, make the logo colourful and attractive with enhanced features.
Dasara is celebrated from October 3 to 12, with the inauguration of festivities at Chamundi Hill and culminates with Jamboo Savari and Torchlight Parade at Bannimantap ground.
The logo was released by Social Welfare and Mysuru District Incharge Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa and Kannada and Culture Minister Shivaraj Tangadagi.
Deputy Commissioner G Lakshmikanth Reddy, Police Commissioner Seema Latkar, SP N Vishnuvardhan, Chamarajanagar MP Sunil Bose, MLC Dr Yathindra Siddaramaiah, DCF Dr K N Basavaraj and others were present.
