Literatus ’19: Students win various prizes

Mysuru: Students from various colleges have won prizes in the competitions organised as a part of ‘Literatus ’19’ one-day State level literature fest, by St Joseph’s First Grade College, in the city.

Paper presentation: Heera C S, Teresian College, first prize, Jibin Thomas, Christ College, second and Sindhu Nagaraj, Mahajana’s First Grade College, third prize.
Poster presentation: Nithin Subbaiah, De Paul, Muskan Shariff, St Joseph’s College for women and Babeena K C Teresian College.
Poetry/ limerick writing: Veolena Jacob, Teresian, Lahari B N, Christ, Prajnya R, MMK- SDM and consolation- Sindhu Nagaraj, Mahajana’s.
Quiz- Vaishnavi Singh and Ridah- MICA, Prajnya and Arundhati- SDM- MMK and Jobin Daniel and Jerick Jason, De Paul.
Undergraduate students from around 20 colleges participated in the contests.
Prof K M Chandar, former chairman, department of studies in English, University of Mysore inaugurated the fest.
CEO, St Joseph’s Colleges, Seby Mavley, Principal Dr Niveditha V and HoD, English Nisha A K were present.
