Lifesaving Service Award presented to Jeevadhara Girish

Mysuru: “We serve for self-satisfaction and happiness. S E Girish, director of Jeevadhara Blood Bank, serves the socially and economically backward people, as well as helps poor students and patients. His service is a true social service,” said Narayana Gowda, president of the Hotel Owners Association.

He was speaking after presenting the Lifesaving Service Award (Jeeva Rakshaka Seva), to S E Girish at the Jeevadhara Blood Bank premises on New Sayyajirao Road in the city, by Sri Durga Foundation and Arivu Samste.
He said that selfless service workers are instrumental in maintaining the health of society and that their 20-year long service should continue in this way.
K B Lingaraju, President of Chamber of Commerce, there is no greater act of charity than blood donation. Those who donate blood become second God to patients who are at risk of losing their lives, due to lack of blood in accidents and other incidents.
The Jeevadara Blood Bank has been relentlessly carrying out such work for the past 20 years. The government has bestowed the Best Blood Bank Award of Mysuru city on Jeevadhara, which was a matter of pride, lauded Lingaraju.
On this occasion, the office-bearers of Sri Durga Foundation and Arivu Sanstha donated 30 units of blood voluntarily.
