Life threat to Chamundi Hill GP PDO! FIR booked against five including GP Vice- president, hubby

Mysuru: Following a complaint by Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) of Chamundi Hills Grama Panchayat, K R police have filed a FIR against the sitting Vice- president of the panchayat, her husband and three others.
According to the complaint of PDO Poornima M N, police have filed a FIR against the accused as follows- Nandish, his father Ramaraju, Puttaraju and his wife GP Vice- president Tulasi and another person.
According to the FIR copy in possession of Mysoorunews.com, Poornima has alleged that ” Following a complaint of illegal construction of a commercial building by Ramaraju on Chamundi Hill main road at Tavarekatte, I had been for a spot inspection on September 7. When I insisted those working at the construction site to summon the owner, the accused restrained me from performing the duty.”
Moreover, the accused claimed that the PDO doesn’t have any power to interfere in the works of this building at Tavarekatte, as the land falls under Survey 4. They also allegedly dared her to do whatsoever she wants to do.
According to Poornima, Puttaraju has been harassing her on the pretext of being the husband of GP vice- president. Besides, he has been unnecessary troubling her by complaining to her higher ups. Even in the case of said building, there are instances of stopping and resuming works without taking requisite permission from the authorities concerned.
“Also, Puttaraju is blaming me of favouring Congress party and working to help those members supported by that political party” Poornima has alleged.
“Even Nandish has threatened of filing a caste abuse case and committing suicide along with his father after blaming me of abetment to suicide in the death note, stating that I have been troubling them for no reasons. In case anything happens in the future, I will be blamed,” Poornima has explained in her complaint, substantiating the reasons seeking action against the accused for restraining her from discharging her duties and issuing life threat.
