Life threat to Anant Kumar Hegde

Union Minister Anant Kumar Hegde has allegedly received a life threat over phone.
Hegde who is seeking re-election from Uttara Kannada Lok Sabha constituency for the sixth straight term, has earned the wrath of left wing parties and organisations for his alleged controversial remarks on ‘Changing the Constitution of India’.
Hegde’s wife Sriroopa who allegedly received the call on landline phone at their house in Karnataka Housing Board ( KHB) colony in Sirsi town was reportedly warned that ‘ Your husband will be killed, come what may, along with his bodyguards’.
Hegde who is known for his controversial remarks on Constitution of India has earned the wrath of dalits, who have been vehemently opposing him for his strong Hindutva pitch. It has also given an ammo for Congress party that has launched a scathing attack on BJP, only to keep its AHINDA vote bank intact.
