Let’s fight China by shunning its products: Minister Somashekar

Mysuru: As tensions escalate between India and China, it’s high time for the people to wage people’s war against China. And being self-reliant to shun Chinese products is the only way to do it, said Co-operation and district incharge minister S T Somashekhar.
Let’s hope that there won’t be a war. But if China continues to be aggressive with India, our leaders will take tough decisions, he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a clarion call to be self-reliant. Now’s the time to it, he said.
He further said that Chinese products have found their way to our homes. Now’s the time to shun Chinese products and encourage local products. This way we can indirectly wage a war on China, he added.
He urged people to encourage Make-in-India initiative and build a self-reliant country.
“Let’s build self-reliant India and it should be on war-footing,” minister added.
He paid his tributes to the martyred soldiers.
