Leopard falls into forest dept cage in Varuna hobli

Mysuru: A leopard was trapped in the cage put up by forest department at an agricultural field in Marashettahalli village in Varuna hobli, Mysuru taluk on Friday.
The leopard, a female, is aged about 2.5 years to 3 years.
The animal is being released into Doddabyrana Kuppe wildlife range, Nagarahole National Tiger Reserve.
Prior to that, forest veterinarians will check the health condition of the animal, according to a press release.
