Late IAS officer D K Ravi’s wife Kusuma Congress nominee from RR Nagar: Siddu

Mysuru: Two days after joining Congress party, Kusuma wife of late IAS officer D K Ravi is the candidate for the by- election to Legislative Assembly from RR Nagar constituency in Bengaluru.
Opposition party leader Siddaramaiah told media persons in the city on Tuesday “Kusuma will be our candidate for the ensuing by- election”. It is only the name of Kusuma suggested to KPCC and only one name is referred. So Kusuma is our RR Nagar candidate”, clarified Siddaramaiah.
“We don’t want to talk about D K Ravi’s mother Gowramma. We will seek votes in the name of our candidate”, Siddaramaiah said referring to Gowramma’s warning ( to her daughter-in-law) against seeking votes in her late son’s name.
Kusuma had joined the grand old party in the presence of KPCC President D K Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah, former deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwar, in Bengaluru on Sunday.
