Late former Governor B Rachaiah’s wife Gowramma passes away

Mysuru: Gowramma (88) wife of former Kerala Governor B Rachaiah, passed away at Apollo BGS Hospitals in the city on Friday.
Rachaiah, a veteran politician, had also served as the Home Minister of Karnataka. He passed away in the year 2000.
Gowramma is survived by two sons including Kollegal MLA A R Krishnamurthy and former Chamarajanagar ZP Member A R Balaraj and five daughters.
The mortal remains of Gowramma will be kept at her son Krishnamurthy’s residence on ninth main, Saraswathipuram in the city till 3 pm.
The last rites will be performed at Alur in Chamarajanagar district on Saturday afternoon.
