Language is a way of life, says UP IAS officer
1 min readMysuru: Chandra Bhushan Tripathi, IAS officer and special secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh has spoke about the significance of language in life and society.
Participating in the inauguration of two- day eighth official language conference organised by the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing ( AIISH), Tripathi said ‘language is not just a tool of communication, but a way of life. There is a need to create awareness on both the language and the literarure’.
The meet holds significance for being organised in a historical city like Mysuru, than being restricted to the northern part of the country, said Tripathi.
AIISH Director Dr M Pushpavathi said “According to language index, Hindi will be among the top languages by the year 2050. It is also gaining prominence in search engines and social media”.
Dr Jayashree C Shanbal HoD, speech language pathology and programme coordinator explained about the initiative behind the conference.
Dr Ved Prakash Dubey Director of Ministry of health and family welfare, Government of India, Rajesh Srivastav, Deputy Director of information and Broadcasting, GOI are attending the conference.
