KSOU Dean Prof Ramanath Naidu receives Ugadi Puraskar from AP CM

Mysuru: Prof Ramanath Naidu, Head of the Department of Telugu Literature and Research, Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), has been conferred with the prestigious Ugadi Puraskar 2025 by the Andhra Pradesh Government.
He received the award from the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandra Babu Naidu, in Vijayawada city.

Prof Ramanath Naidu has been serving in the Karnataka State Open University for the last 32 years in the field of Telugu language culture and research.
Under his guidance, seven students have obtained PhD degrees and 9 students are currently pursuing their research work.
He is credited with successfully organising 20 conferences at the national and international levels.
He has published 11 books on comparative studies of Telugu and other Indian languages and Telugu language and has published hundreds of articles at the national and international levels.
He is currently serving as the Dean of the Study Centres of the Karnataka State Open University.
KSOU Vice Chancellor Prof Sharanappa V Halase and all the officers and staff congratulated Naidu for being selected for this award.
