KR Nagar TMC polls: Netas sweat hard on last day

Mysuru: With less than 48 hours left for the election for K R Nagar town municipal council (TMC), Janata Dal ( Secular ) leaders campaigned for the party candidates on Monday. The election is on May 29 and today was the last day for campaign.
There are 23 wards under K R Nagar TMC and the JD(S
) MLA and Tourism Minister Sa Ra Mahesh is trying his best to ensure good show of the party. Mahesh who rigorously campaigned from three days was joined by MLC K T Srikante Gowda.
Mahesh appealed to the people to place JD(S) in power for overall development of the town. He also told the people that adequate funds has been sanctioned to develop the town. The UGD works are underway and group houses will be built to meet the demand for Ashraya houses.
JD(S) President Chandrashekar, urban planning authority president H C Kumar and other leaders participated in the padayatra.
