KPCC seeks explanation from former MLA Vasu for anti-party activities

Mysuru: Former Legislator  Vasu has been served notice by the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee for his alleged anti-party activities during the Assembly elections, 2023.

The party disciplinary committee chairman Rehman Khan – in the letter – has said that the party has received serveral complaints against Vasu for allegedly working against Chamaraja Constituency candidate during the Assembly elections. Vasu has been asked to submit a written explanation in this regard with seven days.

Meanwhile, the letter has further strengthened rumours that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s followers are doing everything in their stride to expel Vasu. Earlier, during Assembly elections, they succeeded in depriving ticket to contest from Chamaraja Assembly constituency. Now, it is to be seen, whether Vasu would be expelled from the party.
