Kodagu: Following heavy rains across the district, especially Bhagamandala region, Cauvery river is flowing at a dangerous level.
In the last 24 hours, the district has received 192 mm rainfall and there is no sign of respite yet.
After Kerala, Kodagu region has received maximum rainfall from the past few days.
According to rainfall data of Karnataka State Natural Disaster Management Center “there is an increase in flow of Cauvery river especially at Triveni Sangama.”
Rainfall data of other districts is as follows-
Uttara Kannada- 285 mm, Kodagu- 192 mm,
Shivamogga- 156 mm, Udupi- 145 mm,
Belagavi- 139 mm, Chikkamagaluru- 128 mm, Hassan- 117 mm and Dakshina Kannada- 115mm rainfall in the last 24 hours.
