Kho Kho World Cup: Indian women’s team win inaugural edition

New Delhi: The Indian women’s team won the final of maiden Kho Kho World Cup, outclassing Nepal 78-40, at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium here on Sunday.
India that had remained unbeaten throughout the tournament in New Delhi, continued its winning streak under the captaincy of Priyanka Ingle.
India defeated arch-rivals Nepal 78-40 in a largely one-sided contest, much to the delight of a strong crowd at the venue.
Anshu Kumari and B Chaithra were the stars of the Indian team on the big day, playing a key role in their win over Nepal.
