Khelo India University Games! Ann Mariya from Mangaluru sets new record, wins Gold in weightlifting

Benglauru: A weightlifter from the State set a national record at Khelo India University games in Benglauru.
Ann Mariya from Mangalore University entered National Record in clean and Jerk category in 87 kg class weightlifting championship during Khelo India University Games.
She lifted 129 kg to break the previous record of 128 kg held by Manpreet Kaur. She won gold medal with total lift of 230 kgs.
