Karnataka Rajyotsava celebrated at CFTRI

Mysuru: Karnataka Rajyotsava was celebrated at Central Food Technological Research Institute ( CFTRI) on November 1.
CFTRI Director Dr KSMS Raghava Rao unfurled Kannada flag and said “It is essential to learn the local language to conduct daily business. Understanding the significance of the local language, ‘Aahara Vignana’ the in- house journal of the institute is being published in Kannada. Various programnes have been planned in association with Kannada Sahrudaya Balaga the association of Kannada speaking employees at the institute.
Balaga president Rangadhamaiah said ‘CFTRI is a hub of multilanguages, but Kannada is our pride. It’s the right of everybody to learn the language and communicate in the same language’.
