Karnataka elections: Voting picks up pace in Mysuru; nonagenarian among first to vote

Mysuru: People in Mysuru began trickling at the polling stations early as 7 am to cast their votes.
Bangaramma, a nonagenarian was the first to cast her vote at Gundurao Nagar here on Mysuru. She is 96. There was Anushka, a first time voter too exercised her franchise.
As many as 2905 polling stations have been set up across Mysuru district. MLA Krishnaraja Assembly sitting MLA SA Ramadas and his brother Srikanth Das cast their vote at polling station at St Marie’s School on Ramanuja Road.
Krishnaraja constituency has total voters about 2,50,357 of which male voters are 1,22,442 and female voters 1,27,886. There are 265 booths in the Krishnaraja Assembly constituency.
