Karnataka elections: Siddaramaiah’s daughter-in-law Smitha Rakesh holds hectic campaigning in Varuna

Mysuru: With just 12 days left for the Big Day, campaigning has intensified in many constituencies. Congress candidate in Varuna Assembly constituency, Siddaramaiah’s daughter-in-law Smitha Rakesh took on the onus of campaigning for her father-in-law in the constituency on Thursday.
Smitha Rakesh, wife of Late Rakesh Siddaramaiah, went on campaigning in Tagadur village of the constituency seeking votes for Siddarmaiah. She met, especially the women voters, and urged them to vote for Siddaramaiah and help him win with huge margin, this time. she is the first woman in the family to campaign for Siddaramaiah.
Ever since, his candidature was announced for Varuna constituency, Smitha too has jumped into the campaign trail as this would be the last election that her father-in-law would be contesting. Her son, Dhavan Rakesh too joined her and uncle Dr Yatindra Siddaramaiah in campaigning, early this month.
