Karnataka elections: Fate of 143 candidates in Mysuru to be sealed tomorrow

Mysuru: As many as 143 candidates are in fray across the 11 constituencies in Mysuru district. Their fate would be sealed on May 10 when the State goes to elections.

Giving a breakdown of number of candidates in each of the constituencies in Mysuru, Deputy Commissioner Dr KV Rajendra, who is also the Returning Officer of Mysuru said Periyapattna has 10 candidates, Krishnarajanagara – 8, Hunsur – 12, Heggadadevanakote – 12, Nanjangud – 12, Chamundeshwari- 14, Krishnaraja – 17, Chamaraja – 14, Narasimharaja – 17, Varuna – 15 and T Narasipura constituency has 12 candidates. These candidates are from Indian National Congress, Bharatiya Janata Party, Janata Dal Secular, Bahujan Samajawadi Party, Aam Admi Party, Karnataka Rashtra Samithi, SUCI, CPIM, besides Independents.
